hi, might have found another photo of the TA Gillespie plant workers in 1917 or so standing by a mixer

Very cool – thanks! Wonder if there is any way to confirm which TA Gillespie location this image is actually from? He had a number of companies – not just the one in Morgan.
I am working on genealogy research and discovered there were a lot of families (black and white) who had the last name of Gillespie at the time of this event. Many of those families changed their last name to Glaspie around 1918. Is it possible they changed their last name to avoid any perceived connection to the family that owned the Gillespie munitions plant? Have you heard anything about this name change? Thank you.
Hi. I’ve never read anything about this nor heard anything about it. Changing Gillespie to Glaspie seems far-fetched to me but that is my opinion which isn’t based on anything I’ve read, seen, or heard. Good luck with your research!
