Morgan Mastery – Michael Cunliffe Photographs
While anyone can occasionally stumble and take a stunning photograph, I admire anyone that is able to not only take one beautiful photograph but also be able to take many beautiful photographs. Even better is someone who takes beautiful photographs in, around, and about Morgan, New Jersey. Michael Cunliffe is one of these rare people. I greatly admire photos he takes as well as other people’s photos which he shares on Twitter. He has great photographic taste! With his permission, I am including a small collection of some of my favorite Michael Cunliffe photos taken in and around Morgan.
You can see additional photographs taken by Mike on his Flickr account.
You can also follow him on Twitter: @msvcunliffe
You’ll note Michael specializes in sun rises, close up moon photos, food, and M&Ms!
I first met Michael at Sayreville War Memorial High School and admired his performing talent in “Anything Goes.” Now I am also admiring his photographic talents. Thanks, Mike!

Nice images, Michael! Say — are you the younger brother of Dorothy Cunliffe, who was a classmate of mine back at Jesse Selover Elementary School from about 1961 – 1967-ish? Was that you I occasionally saw fishing down at the South Amboy Waterworks when I was chasing turtles there?
Michael,
You are a master of grace. Your beautifully captured images speak to my soul. Thank you for sharing one of your many gifts.

Dianne, Glad you like my pix. Sorry I took so long to reply. Feel better now? yuk-yuk.
Mike is a talented man. Not a surprise to find another hidden talent of his! But a true joy to view these photographs. So glad to see him capture the small beautiful moments of life. See you in my dreams, Mike!
Lorraine, Thanks for your nice comments. Hope you`re doing OK; haven`t seen you in quite a while. Stop by if you`re in town visiting your Mom, hope she`s OK too.
Wow! Impressive photography & of all places, Morgan. Absolutely an artist with a great eye but I also remember you being talented on stage in HS, so, art is definitely a part of your soul. We used to play with my Mr. Potatoe Head in Mrs. Lynnmeyer’s class; back then, with real potatoes & I haven’t a clue how I stumbled upon your pictures but I’m glad I did to share my thoughts & memories. Hence, after K-6 in Jesse Selover, everyone found new beginnings in Jr High and through the years, we all came back together graduating in 1975. Someone once told me you own/run the bar (before John’s Barbershop) in Morgan at one of the reunions; is that true? I’m sure you don’t remember me but I’m not insulted; it was fun going down memory lane. I hope all is well with you & your family. Keep up the photography; Morgan never looked so beautiful! As always, s
Hello Sha-Ron, I remember you from Jesse Selover grade school. Pleased you like my pics. Always had a love for art. Hope you are well and life has been kind to you. Mike
Beautiful photos, Mike! In looking at the comments, I see that these are several years old.
I hope that you can get back to shooting and utilize your talent while doing something you obviously love once you get your “eyes” back.
